I am a 1988 graduate of Benet Academy and have been teaching here since 1997, department chair since 2004.
It is a pleasure to be part of the Religion Department, where we try to be consistent with St. Benedict's maxim, "pray and work so that in everything God may be glorified”. Our classes are challenging and academic in nature, as it is necessary for Benet graduates to develop an understanding of the intellectual truths of their Catholic faith and their implications in living them out.
We work alongside Campus Ministry and Outreach in helping provide students with opportunities to live their faith – as knowledge alone is not enough.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the Religion program. You may read more about our classes in the curriculum guide.
The new Benet Academy curriculum guide contains general academic information and policies, course descriptions, course planning guide, graduation requirements, test information, and more. The guide contains a search feature so you may easily find the information you are looking for by typing keywords into the "Find" box located in your Adobe Reader. You will need the free Adobe Reader to view the guide. Copy and paste this link in your browser to download the Reader: http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO
