General Information

  • Curriculum Guide (Updated 2010) -  grading policies, 4.0 conversion chart, academic requirements, course descriptions, course credits, course registration procedures, and more.  See below
  • Benet Academy School Code is 142635.  This is needed when completing college applications.

School Absence - Homework

A student who is absent from a class should obtain missed homework assignments in any of the following ways

  • Call a reliable classmate (homework and notes) .
  • Check to see if homework assignment is listed on the teachers' web pages.
  • Email the teacher - first initial last name @benet.org -- example, Mr. James Brown would be jbrown@benet.org
  • Check with the teacher upon return to school.

Peer Tutors

A peer tutor is typically a National Honor Society student who volunteers to help another student better understand specific academic content. Peer tutoring is in addition to consulting teachers for extra help. Peer tutoring is usually one-on-one help and is available during study hall, before, or after school. Interested students should see their counselor to make peer tutor arrangements.

Work Permit

If a work permit is needed during the school year, a completed Letter of Intent form should be brought to a counselor and he/she will issue the work permit.  If it is during the summer,  the principal’s secretary will complete issue the permit.
