CMAT

Mass will be offered tomorrow during 4^th period, and Confessions will be heard after school from 2:35 until 3:00.

Anime Club

Today after school there will be a videogame day in the lobby (St. Martin's) for Christmas Drive. Be sure to bring donations to play.

Hockey

Come to Seven Bridges Ice Arena tonight as the Varsity Hockey team takes on St. Viator at 7:10. With a win, Benet will take over second place in the Chicago Catholic League. Hopefully we can have another big crowd and thanks to all those who came to the games this past weekend.

Locker Rooms

All locker rooms will be locked at 3:30 Thursday and Friday (Due to the Xmas Girls basketball tourney). Boys and Girls basketball teams will be able to get into their lockers.

Football

All EPP members, please pick up your necessary forms in the equipment room after school today.

Lady Redwings

The Lady Redwing teamsstart their Holiday tournament today with a game against Wheaton Warrannville South at home. Game times are as follows:
Frosh at 4:30
Soph at 6:00
Varsity at 7:30

Recycling

Students and Faculty - Did you ask Santa for a new cell phone for Christmas?
More than 125 MILLION cell phones are thrown away every year, creating nearly 20,000 tons of hazardous landfill waste annually.
Do you want to get rid of your old one guilt-free, help the planet AND help Benet?
If you have any old cell phones laying around your house, it doesn't matter how old, ugly or broken they are, bring them to either Mr. Brooks' or Mrs. Arthurs' classrooms and Benet will get anywhere from $1 - $10 to recycle it, depending on the kind of phone.
You can do this at any time for the rest of the year. Go Benet and make every day Earth Day!
P.S. Don't just round up phones at your house without asking your parents for permission. Santa knows if you're being naughty...

Logos

There will be a Logos 3rd Day gathering, Thursday, December 15th in the chapel after school. All former participants are encouraged to attend. Remember, to live Logos.

NHS

Remember to record your service hours in the binder in the SAC by the end of first semester.

Christmas Drive Stuff

- Don't forget tomorrow is $5 for the drive! Pay $5 to the Christmas Drive to be out of uniform tomorrow!
- All those students that will be indentured elves tomorrow, please come to a meeting TODAY during homeroom in St. Jude Commons.
-Those of you that owe money for Indentured Elves, please bring that money to the deans' office as soon as possible!

Penny Wars

Teacher penny wars: today is the last day to donate. Thanks to a sizable anonymous donation received this morning, Mr. Corrigan has nearly pulled even with Mr. Frey. Thank you all for your generosity.

Giving Tree

The NHS giving tree is outside the deans' office. Please take an ornament andplace the item listed in the boxes by the tree.The tree will be up through next week.

Yearbook

We have a yearbook deadline today! We will be checking pages after school and everyone is VERY welcome to come and help out!

Five for the Drive

Tomorrow is the "5 for the Drive” slop day. Instead of wearing the regular school uniform, students may wear jeans or sweat pants, tee shirts or sweatshirts, and gym shoes or sandals. However, flannel pants, pajama pants, leggings, or yoga pants may NOT be worn. Flip-flops or slippers may NOT be worn. Shorts or too-revealing attire may NOT be worn. Tee shirts and sweatshirts may not have any drug or alcohol references on them. Hats or other head-coverings may not be worn. All other regular appearance code regulations (such as young men being clean shaven) will apply.

To further clarify --

Jeans or sweat pants are okay to wear, but not flannel pants, pajama pants, leggings, shorts, or yoga pants.
Sandals and gym shoes are okay to wear, but not flip-flops or slippers.
Hats or other head-coverings may not be worn.
Students who are not in compliance with the stated expectations will be sent to the Deans' Office to change into uniform attire.
Students with questions should ask one of the Deans.
