Volleyball
It is time to "RISE UP REDWINGS" and come out and cheer on the varsity girls volleyball team as they head to Redbird arena to compete for the state title. No team in 4A have ever 3 peated as a state champion. Last year the girls made history as they were the first team in 4A to repeat with back to back state titles. Come out and be a part of history in the making. Come down to Redbird arena and cheer on the team as they take on the Gators of Crystal Lake Southon fridaynight.Game time is about7:30pm!"RISE UP REDWINGS!"andlets show everyone WE DO have the best fansand cheer our ladies to victory! Tickets are available during lunch and homeroom today and tomorrow, as well as after school today. Tickets cost $8.00 each.

The theme for Friday’s game is "Red, White, and Blue,” and the theme for Saturday’s game is "Blackout!”

Volleyball Fan Bus
All forms for this Friday and Saturday’s fan bus are due in the Dean’s Office by the end of the day today.

Swimming

Come cheer on the girls’ sectional swim team on Saturday at 1:00 at Downers Grove North!

Hockey

The Varsity Hockey team plays Saturday vs. Marist at 5:10 at Seven Bridges. The JV team plays Friday vs. Notre Dame at 8:35 at Seven Bridges, Saturday vs. Marist at 3:40 at Seven Bridges, and Sunday vs. Brother Rice oat 4:45 at Oak Lawn Ice Rink.

Newspaper Meeting
All Herald editors must attend a mandatory newspaper meetingthis Fridayin the new conference room during the F/6th period. Bring your lunch.

Senior Panoramic Picture

The senior panoramic picture will take place this Friday during homeroom. Order forms are available in the Dean’s Office. Please fill these and either bring them back to the Dean’s Office or bring them with you to the picture on Friday.

Guitar Club

We will be meeting at Portillos for dinner at5:00if you would like to join us.

While on the trip, students work in small groups with adults to do home repairs for church members in the area who cannot afford or do the repairs for themselves. Frosh Basketball
Attention freshman basketball players,

Tryouts today will last from6-8 pm. Guys with numbers 1-29 will practice from6-7pm, and numbers 30-58 will practice from7-8pm.

Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to stretch out.

There are still a few players who have not turned in forms. You must bring those intomorrowif you want to try out for the team.

The training for Giant Steps school for Individuals with Autism in Lisle is scheduled for NEXTMONDAY, November 11th at 3:30. Students are trained at Giant Steps and then may sign up for volunteering after school according to what works for your schedule. Giant Steps can use 2 or 3 Benet volunteers most days of the week.

SALT is headed to Naperville onWednesday, November 6thfrom,6:45-8:15to socialize, craft, and enjoy a dessert with individuals living with mental illness.

All SALT Sign ups and permission slips are on the bulletin board in Joseph's hall.

Benet Faculty and Students....A great job yesterday at the Open House. What a wonderful way to finish up a great weekend for Benet Academy. The enthusiasm that our faculty and student body providedon Sundaywas fantastic...and truly made a difference.

We need one more great day Redwings. Our second Open House will betomorrow from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Sign up sheets for student workers are on the bulletin board outside of the Recruitment Office. We need more students, especially tour guides. Those students who did tours yesterday are especially encouraged to sign up.
