Dress Drive
Ladies (and boys with sisters!)
Do you have any old dance dresses that you know you won't wear again? Or maybe some that don't fit anymore? Instead of packing them away to the dress-up box, donate them to the Junior and Senior Marian's Prom Possible dress drive. We will be collecting old dance dresses to donate to girls who may not be able to afford a new dress for prom. Long and short dresses of any style can be dropped off in boxes in front of the Dean's office, outside the Caf, or in the lobby of Saint Daniel Hall beginning tomorrow, March 12th through Tuesday, March 19th.So raid your closets (your sisters' too) and bring your gently used dresses in this week!
Questions: See any of the junior/senior Marians, Ms. Carlevato or Ms. Condon

Dean's Office Daily Announcements

March 15, 2013

CMAT
Reconciliation and Adoration will be available periods 7, 8, 9 and after school.

Freshman marians should check their email for important information for next week's Marians activities from Mrs. Bedore

There will be a trip to Marquard soup kitchen on Wednesday, April 3rd...it seems far off but Spring Break is near and there are only eight slots so grab them now! It is a great experience!

The campus ministry trip to Villa St. Benedict's is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20th after school. Join us for games and visiting with the residents. Sign up is on the service bulletin board.

Shadows
We would like to welcome our shadows from the following schools: All Saints, St. Francis Xavier, Washington, St. John of the Cross, Notre Dame, St. Al/St. Pat

Parking Tickets
Yesterday a number of student cars parked on campus were ticketed by the Lisle Police Department. The Deans' Office has a call out to the police department to find out more about the circumstance since the officer was not summoned by our office. I will have more information for all of us as it becomes available. However, the Deans' Office's inspection of our lots yesterday morning revealed a significant number of unregistered vehicles parked on our campus. Those who parked unregistered vehicles on our campus obviously helped create the situation of overcrowding that occurred yesterday. While early morning practices may incline a non-registered driver to try and "sneak it" for a day now and then, it is wrong to take something to which you are not entitled -- that is, a place to park on campus -- because you are depriving other students of the spaces to which they are entitled. Students who park unregistered vehicles on campus or at St. Procopius Abbey are risking not being issued a permit for the 2013-2014 school year.

Set Construction
Set construction for the Spring Play will begin Tuesday. Everyone is invited to attend. Please see Mr. Akin with any questions.
