Latin Club

The Latin Club is open to all students who are currently taking Latin or have taken Latin in the past. It is a social club  for those who are enthusiastic about Roman culture, history, language, and are interested in sharing their enthusiasm  with others. Monthly meetings often correspond to Roman holidays, including Christmas/Saturnalia,  Lupercalia/Valentine’s Day, the Ides of March, and Rome’s birthday. The Latin Club also serves as Benet’s chapter of  the Illinois Junior Classical League and National Junior Classical League and participates in events sponsored by these groups, including a yearly convention.
