Hall of Honor

The Benet Academy Hall of Honor is dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements and contributions of our alumni, faculty, and friends of the Benet family.  By recognizing excellence in Professional Distinction, Faith & Service, Fine Arts and Athletics, we aim to inspire current and future students to strive for greatness in all their endeavors. The Hall of Honor serves as a lasting tribute to those who have exemplified the values of our school and made a significant impact on Benet Academy and on their communities.

Honorees will be selected in the following categories: 

Professional Distinction:
those who have brought distinction to their professions through outstanding achievements, successful endeavors, and exemplary contributions leaving a lasting impact in their respective fields.

Faith & Service: recognizes those who have made a profound impact on Benet Academy and the broader community; demonstrating a deep, abiding faith and a commitment to serving others, while inspiring those around them through their selflessness, compassion and lasting dedication to making a difference. 

Fine Arts: celebrates honorees who have demonstrated extraordinary talent in the Fine Arts, whether on the stage, in the studio, or through creative expression at Benet Academy and beyond. These individuals continue to lead lives that reflect the values of Benet Academy, using their artistic gifts to inspire and uplift others.

Athletics: these honorees have exhibited exceptional athletic prowess on the field, court, and arenas of Benet Academy and beyond. These athletes not only achieved greatness in competition, but continue to lead lives that embody the spirit of perseverance, teamwork, and integrity while inspiring others to do the same.

An induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 15th.  
The 2025 inaugural class of the Benet Academy Hall of Honor was selected by the nomination committee.  All future inductees will be selected through a community-wide nomination process. Each spring, anyone may nominate an individual for induction into the Hall of Honor. Nominations must be based on personal knowledge or documented research. Nominations will open on March 1st and will close on June 1st. Nominees who are Benet Academy alumni must have graduated at least 10 years prior to their nomination. Non-alumni nominees may be inducted at any stage in their career or life. Benet employees are eligible 5 years after retirement. The nomination committee will convene in July to finalize the inductees for the following Hall of Honor Class.
