Hall of Honor

Hall of Honor

The Benet Academy Hall of Honor is dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements and contributions of our alumni, faculty, and friends of the Benet family. By recognizing excellence in Professional Distinction, Faith & Service, Fine Arts, and Athletics, we aim to inspire current and future students to strive for greatness in all their endeavors. The Hall of Honor serves as a lasting tribute to those who have exemplified the values of our school and made a significant impact on Benet Academy and on their communities.

Nomination Process

Nominations must be based on personal knowledge or documented research. Nominations for the Class of 2027 will open on March 1, 2026 and will close on June 1, 2026. Nominees who are Benet Academy alumni must have graduated at least 10 years (Class of 2016 and earlier) prior to their nomination. Non-alumni nominees may be inducted at any stage in their career or life. Benet employees are eligible 3 years after retirement. The nomination committee will convene in July to finalize the inductees for the following Hall of Honor Class. If not selected, all nominations will remain in the pool for future consideration.

Honorees are selected in the following categories:

Professional Distinction:
Recognizing alumni who have achieved exceptional distinction in their professions, bringing honor to their work and community through extraordinary accomplishments, meaningful contributions, and a steadfast commitment to excellence in their chosen fields.

Faith & Service: Honoring members of the Benet community whose selfless service and dedication  have made a profound impact on Benet Academy and the broader community, by transforming lives, touching hearts, fostering positive change with compassion and purpose, and inspiring others through their unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Fine Arts: Applauding those in the Benet community whose exceptional gifts in the Fine Arts have inspired creativity and beauty at Benet Academy and beyond, and who continue to illuminate the world and lead lives of passion, innovation, and a commitment to enriching the human spirit.

Athletics: Celebrating athletes and coaches who have demonstrated extraordinary athletic talent and leadership on the fields and courts of Benet Academy and beyond, and who continue to inspire others by living lives that reflect the core values of integrity, sportsmanship, commitment and excellence.
