CARE Program

The Center for Academic Redwing Enrichment (CARE) is our enrichment program to support our learners beginning with their rising freshman summer.

Each course engages our newest Redwings in a curriculum that creates opportunities to be Benet ready - in academic skill with a social network and commitment to school culture.  Courses will use group and individual learning activities, discussions, questioning and creative approaches to enriched learning environments.

Every class will incorporate the following PREP skills:

P - Plan for technology - Securing school log-ins, practicing preferred platforms, and developing community standards of digital citizenship

R - Readiness for freshman success - Learn time management skills, prioritizing homework-life balance, and cultivating a growth mindset

E - Excellence in academic readiness - Learn about the transition to high school academics and note-taking skills

P - Participation in Benet school culture - Focus on communication with academic peers and faculty; learning our hallways and classrooms; celebrating our successes.
