HSPT Test Prep

High School Placement Test Prep

The Benet Test Prep course equips students with the strategies, practice, and confidence needed to perform their best on the HSPT. By focusing on key content areas, time management, and test-taking techniques, you can reduce anxiety and improve scores, opening doors to greater academic success.
This course will cover the 5 sections of the HSPT Exam (Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Math and Language).  The goal of the course is to introduce the students to the material and format they will encounter during the entrance exam. During the class, we will cover the content as well as test taking and timing strategies. A book of practice exams will be given and all other materials are provided. This is also a great opportunity to get familiar with the building and meet other potential Benet students.

HSPT test prep taught me test taking skills that not only helped me with my Benet entrance exam, but with every test and quiz I have taken throughout my high school career. This class taught me how to pace myself and choose the best answers especially for multiple choice. HSPT taught me basic building blocks of test taking I am still building on today.

Coming from a public school background, my parents and I did not know what to expect about the HSPT test. With the prep course, I was able to get acquainted with the topics and curriculum of the placement test. I did numerous timed practice tests, multiple choice questions, reading excerpts, math problems, vocab lessons, and many more! Going into the exam I felt very comfortable and prepared because of the prep course and private tutoring sessions. I would definitely recommend this course for incoming high school students who want to excel and gain experience before going into the entrance exam!
