The Kazma Family Foundation, in conjunction with the Catholic Education Foundation, offers selected Class of 2029 students a $6,000 scholarship for each of the four high school years. There is an additional incentive for honor roll status. The application can be found at https://www.cefjoliet.org/scholarship-grants-css/kazma-family-scholarship. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2026.
The top 10 scoring students on the Benet Entrance Exam will receive a $4,000 tuition credit for their freshman year and an additional $1,000 annual tuition credit each year thereafter, totaling $7,000 over their four years at Benet Academy.
The next 30 highest-scoring students will receive a $1,000 tuition credit each year for four years totaling $4,000.
Recipients will be notified in mid-late January.
*To maintain eligibility, scholarship recipients must remain in good academic standing at Benet Academy.
The Tom LeCompte Memorial Math Scholarship honors the memory of Tom LeCompte, a proud Benet Academy alumnus from the Class of 1982, and recognizes exceptional achievement in mathematics.
This one-year, $1,000 scholarship is awarded to the five highest-scoring students in mathematics on the Benet Academy Entrance Exam and is applied directly to tuition for the recipient’s freshman year.
To honor Sean’s life and legacy, the Love Like Sean Foundation, in partnership with Benet Academy, has established the Sean Patrick Richards Memorial Scholarship.
This scholarship will be given annually to 3 incoming freshmen. Each student will receive a $20,000 scholarship, to be paid $5,000 a year for each of his or her 4 years at Benet.
Students receiving this scholarship exhibit the qualities and traits lived by Sean during his brief, but incredibly impactful, time on earth. Those qualities and traits include a commitment to the Catholic faith, sincere kindness to everyone, a positive influence to all, love, laughter, joy, compassion, empathy, and wonder, just to name a few.
Scholarship determinations are made without regard to academic performance, athletic achievement, financial need, race, gender or any other criteria not listed above.
The Benet Academy Mothers Club Service Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to Christian service, leadership, and care for others.
Rooted in Benet Academy’s Benedictine values of humility, hospitality, and community, this scholarship recognizes students who live out their faith through service at school, in their parish, and in their community. Recipients show a willingness to serve others through both action and leadership, reflecting the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
Sponsored by the Benet Academy Mothers Club, this scholarship supports students who will strengthen the Benet community through faith, service, and active involvement. It honors young leaders who are eager to grow as compassionate servants and contribute positively to the life of the school and the wider community.
The Tom LeCompte '82 Band and Orchestra Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Tom LeCompte, a proud Benet Academy alumnus from the Class of 1982. This one-year, $1,000 scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who demonstrate excellence and commitment in band or orchestra.
Interested students must complete an application and will be contacted with information about the audition/selection process.
The scholarship is contingent on the student’s enrollment in either the Band or Orchestra program and is applied directly to the recipient’s freshman-year tuition.
