Bridgid Ohlinger-Denker

Brigid Ohlinger-Denker, age 56, a longtime resident of Lisle, IL, formerly of Phoenix, AZ and Albuquerque, NM, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her home. She was born on July 31, 1968, in Evergreen Park, IL.

 

Beloved daughter of the late Michael H. "Mike" and Kathleen M. (nee Redmond) Ohlinger, loving sister of Karrie (Dan) O'Connor, Suzanne (Tom) Fogarty, Sheila (Steve) Dalton, Mike Jr. (Amor) Ohlinger and the late twins James and Joseph Ohlinger, adored aunt of Dan, Riley and Mary-Kate O'Connor; Keelin Fogarty; Sean Dalton and Mikey Ohlinger, dear niece, cousin, and friend to many including Perry Denker of Peoria, IL. Brigid will be dearly missed by her dog, Teddie.

 

Brigid grew up in Lisle, IL, attended St. Joan of Arc School, Benet Academy (Class of 1986) and was a graduate of The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Biology. She was an animal lover and enjoyed reading.

 

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Kingston & Front Streets, Lisle, IL 60532, (630) 963-4500.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow Friday, 11:00 AM in the church.

 

A committal service will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 87th Street &, S. Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805, (708) 422-8720. Everyone will meet on Friday at 1:30 PM inside the cemetery gates.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brigid's memory can be made to a local animal shelter or humane society of the donor's choice.
