Up in Space!

In November, Zachary Kowalczyk '16  and the Impulse Space team were in orbit and successfully communicated with the MIRA satellite launched by SpaceX. Zach joined Impulse Space in 2024 distinguishing himself immediately as Senior Avionics Engineer working on the MIRA satellite electrical system prior to launch.  He was promoted to Lead Avionics Engineer for MIRA after just 9 months and leads a team currently working on several launches planned for 2026.
