This Lenten retreat was born from an idea in my class after a wonderful and successful reunion on the grounds of Benet.  It was such a delight spending an evening with classmates and colleagues that we wanted to continue the energy and the conversations more in depth.  We created and held an afternoon retreat that was thoughtful and healing to the heart.  

The theme of our retreat is “Finding New Life.” Lent is traditionally a time of penance and fasting. However, it is also considered a time for new life and growth in our lives. Our retreat will consist of lunch, prayer, reflection talks, discussion and Mass. Our time together is designed to help us come in touch with the fact that God intends life to be an exciting spiritual adventure for all of us as He is continually drawing us into new experiences of peace and joy.
