Benet Academy has always believed that a transformative, values-centered education should be accessible to every family who seeks it. As a Catholic, Benedictine school committed to forming compassionate leaders, critical thinkers, and faithful servants of God and neighbor, we are called to open our doors wide — and keep them open.
 
Every year, over 125 of our students (more than 10%) receive tuition assistance. These aren’t just numbers — they represent families who chose Benet, who believe in what we stand for, and who need their community to stand with them. We're committed to growing that number so every deserving student can attend Benet — and with your support, we can.
 
On April 23rd, alumni, current families, faculty, staff, and friends come together for one purpose: to ensure that every Redwing who belongs here can be here. Your gift directly funds tuition assistance and keeps the Benet experience within reach for the next generation of students.
 
Our goal is $100,000 in 24 hours. Every gift — of any size — lifts a student and brings us closer together.

  • What is the Day of Giving?

    The Day of Giving is Benet Academy’s annual 24-hour online fundraising event. On April 23, 2026, our entire community comes together — alumni, current families, faculty, staff, and friends — to make a collective impact in a single day. It’s one of the most powerful expressions of what it means to be a Redwing: when we fly as one, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish together. Every dollar raised supports tuition assistance, ensuring a Benet education remains accessible to all who seek it.

  • Are Day of Giving donations tax-deductible?

    Yes! Benet Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You will receive a donation receipt via email for your records.

  • Where does my gift go?

    Every dollar raised on the Day of Giving supports Benet Academy’s tuition assistance program. With awards averaging $3,000–$4,000 per student, your gift helps bridge the gap for families who are called to a Benet education. No matter the size of your contribution, it goes directly toward keeping our community whole and our doors open to every student who belongs here.

  • Can anyone participate in the Day of Giving?

    Absolutely. We Fly As One means exactly that — everyone has a place in this. Whether you’re a proud alum, a current or past Benet family, a faculty or staff member, or simply someone who believes in what Benet Academy stands for, your support is welcome and meaningful.

  • Can I make a Day of Giving gift by phone or by check?

    Yes! If you prefer to give by phone or mail a check, please contact the Advancement Office at 630-719-2349 or send your check payable to Benet Academy to 2200 Maple Ave., Lisle, IL 60532. Please note “Day of Giving” in the memo line and email us to let us know so your gift is counted toward our $100,000 goal.

  • What can I do to help get the word out about the Day of Giving?
