Baumgartner-Gilbert Stadium Project -

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting Decades Challenge where you - the loyal alumni of Benet Academy (and St. Procopius!) - can proudly support the modernization of the Baumgartner-Gilbert Stadium complex! And, with our Redwing Spirit, we want to do it with some fun competition and prizes! 

Each week, donors from the alumni decade that generously donates the most gifts to this transformational and generational project will have the opportunity to win wonderful raffle prizes - Benet camp certificates, Redwing Classic foursome, Benet Golf simulator party and more! 

The alumni decade that provides the most gifts overall will receive a pregame VIP Party for alums from their decade before a home football game during the inaugural 2027 season of the renovated Baumgartner-Gilbert Stadium! 

Please join us as we make the dream of lights on Benet’s campus a reality and bring home track meets, soccer, football, and lacrosse games back to Benet. 

The renovated stadium will elevate physical education and athletic opportunities, enhance the beauty of our campus, strengthen school spirit, and serve as a powerful symbol of our commitment to every student who calls Benet home. It will be a place where memories are made, traditions are strengthened, and Redwing pride is on full display.

By enhancing the front of campus and providing a visually impressive venue for games and events, the stadium will build school pride, energize student and alumni spirit, and serve as a powerful recruitment tool that reflects our commitment to investing in the full development of our students.
  • Expanded Athletic Opportunities: By providing versatile and durable playing surfaces for football, track, soccer, lacrosse, cross country and other sports, the stadium renovation will extend the season in which students can participate in various sports, fostering teamwork, discipline and leadership skills.

Construction Timeline

Construction of Phase 1 is scheduled to begin in June 2026 and will take approximately 10 months to complete.

Phase 2 will begin upon the completion of Phase 1 and once the necessary funds have been raised.
