Certamen

The Certamen is a Scholastic Bowl type competition that challenges students' memory and knowledge of numerous topics  relating to the ancient Romans and their language. The competition involves individual and team effort. Practices  start in September. Three regional meets are scheduled from October to February, with a state competition held later in the spring. Members must make a commitment to participate in weekly practices and regional meets.
